Workplace Pensions

The Government introduced the Auto-Enrolment Initiative back in 2012 with the view to ensuring that every employee is a member of a pension scheme, planning for their future.

A scheduled rolling out plan was implemented known in the Industry as Staging, you may have already received your letter from the pension regulator giving you your Company's staging date.  For a number of businesses this has caused a great deal of concern and stress, and for most they think it doesn't apply to them. (Click on the quick link to the left for more information about the consequences of not Auto-Enroling).

The staging date is the final part of the process, which needs due consideration when planning your scheme as the average small to medium business can take up to 6 months to set up, this is in addition to understanding the benefits your scheme offers its members.
